Steganos Safe Lite

Exposed files, like customers data, calculations or private data, are a risk:
- You have forgotten your laptop or it is stolen.
- In a meeting someone copied data from your PC.
- During burglary the hard disk with confidential data is stolen.
With the Steganos Safe you can create an encrypted "virtual" drive on your PC, which can be opend only with your CmStick or your Steganos Safe code. The Lite version is limited to four safes, each with 128 MByte, you can buy an unlimited version for a good price on www.codemeter.com.
Your files are safely protected against unauthorized access. You should choose a strong keyphrase for the safe, the best of all is a mix of more than 12 characters, numbers and special characters. Your CmStick keeps it, easy and comfortable.
Starting the program
Only runs with Windows 2000 or XP 32-bit.
After installation, the software can be started via "Start - Programs - Steganos Safe Lite - Steganos Safe Lite ". Now you can create your own password protected drive, which can be accessed using your CmStick.
Setting up a secure drive
After creating a new encrypted drive, all data that you will save on this secure drive will be automatically encrypted.
Thanks to Automatic Crash Prtection (ACP) your data is even encrypted on the hard disk in the case of a system crash or power failure.
Additional Features
Steganos Portable Safe
With the Portable Safe you can transport your sensitive data securely and easily. With the Live Encryption Technology you can run and decrypt the Portable Safe medium an any PC or Laptop - all you need is your password.
This release of the Portable Safe already contains the requiered data decryption software.
Data Destructions (Shredder)
The Shredder enables you to definitively and reliably destroy files and folders. The Shredder consists of of two components:
1. The File shredder destroys files and folders located on your hard drive.
2. The Free Space Shredder destroys the remains of previously deleted files. Thanks to this deep cleaning, data located in the free space on your drive will be destroyed.
