CodeMeter Password Manager
The CodeMeter Password Manager enables you to comfortaby and safely store passwords, PINs and iTANs in your CmStick. It also provides the feature to automatically fill in website passwords.
A password inquiry occurs everytime you want to save data. Please enter your current passorwd, the default is "CodeMeter".
Web Forms
Everytime you type login information into an unknown form, the CM Password Manager will ask you if this information should be stored for, so you never will have to manually type your login data again.
Mozilla Firefox
If you want to use the CodeMeter Password Manager instead of the Internet Explorer, please install the FireFox plug-in. This plug-in and additional information is available on http://codemeter.com.
Categories
At the main window of the CodeMeter Password Manager you can create different categories for your PINs and passwords, e.g. online banking, online shops, itineraries, portals.
For iTANs you can create an own category of the type "iTAN". You can store a complete list of iTANs and mark each entry as used.
Just try it and you will see, it is easy and very handy.
Internet Passwords
If you want to use the following option you need access to the Internet
The CodeMeter Password Manager can automatically fill in passwords you need for logging into websites.To do so, create a category of the type "website". If you create a new entry using the "New" button, then you can copy the URL of the website, which should be automatically filled with your login data.
Please make sure that the left part of the URL like ,http://, is also copied. Please save your data with the "Save" button. Now you can open the Internet Explorer with the "Open" button. Your login data will be automatically entered on this website. You only will have to press the login button.
This feature can be used on all supported operating systems with FireFox and on Windows as well as with the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
NOTE: The automatic fill in of password forms also will work, if the CodeMeter Password Manager is not started.
Generating Password
The option "Password Generator" can help you to create suitable and secure passwords.
The green bar illustrates the level of security. Close to the bar, the security level in percentage is displayed.
The use of the CodeMeter Password Manager is easy to understand and offers a high level of security for your data.

Now you can start the CodeMeter Password Manager directly on the CmStick/M without having to setup anything or without any administrative rights. The passwords are automatically filled in without problems, if you use the portable FireFox.
